In old days there was a cruel demon called Jalandhar which became powerful due to his wife who is loyal and faithful to her husband. The faithfulness and loyalty made the strong layer of protection around the demon Jalandhar. During the fight between Jalandhar and God Shiva, Jalandhar can’t be defeated, Loard Bhisnu convert himself a a demon Jalandhar and went to Jalandhar’s wife Vrinda. After Loard Bishnu was success to took chastity of Vrinda, Loard Shiva was successfully defeated the demon Jalandhar. After knowing Jalandhar was killed upon knowing the trick used by Loard Bishnu, Vrinda curse Loard Bishnu to become stone and Loard Bishnu became Saligram.

Access to Muktinath Temple is very difficult due to its rough poor road condition and weather changes here so often. Helicopter tour from Kathmandu Valley or Pokhara is more convenience. From Kathmandu Valley it is only approximately 45 minutes of flight on helicopter and only 30 minutes flight form Pokhara. On your reach to Muktinath Temple, you can take a bath of 108 holy waterspots and two holy Kunda, then you can change your cloths and perform the Pooja at temple. After 45 minutes of return flight, you will land on domestic airport of TIA.
