10 Days 9 Nights Kathmandu Nagarkot Pokhara Chitwan Tour covers different cities of Nepal. It starts with sightseeing of UNESCO Heritage Site of Nepal.
On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan Int’l airport, meet our representative and transfer to Hotel. Check in Hotel and evening free to stroll around in Thamel on your own.
After having breakfast, you will proceed for sightseeing covering Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath.
After sightseeing you will proceed for Nagarkot.
After breakfast you will check out from the hotel. On the way you will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
After visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will check In hotel at Kathmmandu.
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. It is about 200km from Kathmandu. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Machhapuchhre; five picks of Mt. Annapurna and of course Fewa Lake. This city is nestled in the tranquil valley and is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. (Optional on extra charge: you can experience the white water rafting in Trishuli River for 02 – 03 hrs on the way). The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous views of the Himalayas. (Optional: experience the white water rafting in Trishuli River for 02 – 03 hrs on the way). On arrival at Pokhara check in to hotel. Evening free, stroll around the lakeside and enjoy the evening.
Early morning transfer to domestic airport to catch the flight for Jomsom. At an altitude of 2800m, Jomsom is a district head quarter of Mustang also known as Dzongsam or New Fort. Making a back drop of Mt. Dhaulagiri & Nilgiri it extends over both Kali Gandaki River. The views from Jomsom are enchanting as the Nilgiri (7,061 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) ranges reflect the golden rays of the rising and setting sun. The entire panorama is filled with a golden, glittering light which forms a dramatic contrast with the barren, black and dry mountains of the surrounding Kali Gandaki valley. Life here is a balance of hard work, and ancient culture. Many visitors find their most lasting impression of Nepal comes not from the ancient temples in the urban valleys but from visits to places like Jomsom and its exhilarating spiritual environment. Jomsom area is not only the most popular trekking destination in Nepal but also the gateway to Upper Mustang – “Kingdom” within the Hindu Kingdom of Nepal. Jomsom is also the gateway to The Muktinath shrine that holds great religious significance to both Buddhists and Hindus. This area is also famous for its delicious apples. The towering Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges, the Pre-Himalayan Gandaki river systems, old cave dwellings, lush green fruit orchards, ancient religious temples and monasteries, primitive villages, high mountain lakes, caravans still operating along ancient salt routes – all these make this area one of the most diverse, stark and primitive areas in Nepal.
Mukti (Salvation) holds a grate significance for all spiritual people in the south Asian sub continent. Muktinath (the provider of salvation) has been one such holy site, where thousands of devotees flock for attaining the much sought after moksha.
The famous temple of Lord Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang and is situated about 18 km northeast of Jomsom at an altitude of about 3750 meters.
Muktinath is of the religious importance to both Hindus and Buddhists. The main shrine of Muktinath is a pagoda – shaped temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. In the walls around it are 108 waterspouts. The Jwala Mai temple near by has a spring and an eternal flame fed by natural gas. It is believed that one should visit this temple after completing pilgrimage of four special religious sites in India. That is “Chardham Yatra”. Once Pilgrimage journey made to this holy Muktinath, holy dip in the Kunda and bath beneath of 108 Dhara is believed to bring about salvation (Moksha).
On arrival at Jomsom airport, transfer to hotel. Later, take a jeep ride or horse to proceed to Muktinath. After finishing the religious rites and puja, back to Jomsom. Free, enjoy the most charming surroundings of Jomsom.
Early morning, transfer to Jomsom airport to fly back to Pokhara. On arrival transfer to hotel. After breakfast, one hour boat ride at Phewa Lake and proceed to s/s tour of Pokhara, covering Bindhyabasini temple, Seti river gorge, Davis falls, Gupteswore Mahadev cave. Afternoon free, stroll around the lake site.
After early breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park at Chitwan. On arrival, briefing on program & check in to hotel/resort. After lunch, elephant safari or jungle walk or visit elephant breeding center. Evening native cultural programmed with dinner. Dinner at camp or lodge. (Full board basis).
Wake up call at early morning followed by tea/coffee. Proceed to bird watching tour. After break fast, canoeing trip with crocodile game in the Rapti River. After lunch, elephant back safari to explore jungle. Evening free.
Wake up call at 05.30 followed by tea/coffee at 06.00, bird watching/elephant safari/jungle walk. After breakfast at camp/lodge, proceed to Kathmandu and check into hotel. Free for own activities.
After breakfast, you are free till the time of checkout. Later on, you will be transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport to catch your return flight.
