9 Days 8 Nights Kathmandu Chitwan Pokhara Tour covers Kathmandu Durbar Square, the monkey temple Swayambhunath, Fewa lake,spectacular view of Annapurna, bird watching and many more. In Kathmandu city you will be visits UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath.

Next you will proceed to Chitwan, which is great destination to experience wildlife resources. Here you will be visiting elephant bathing center, elephant breeding center, birds watching and Tharu village. On your stay you also do adventurous jungle walk where can see one horned rhinoceros, Gharials, Royal Bengal tiger and other interesting species. With you there will be experienced guide because it might be dangerous to viewing these interesting species very closely . During dinner you will be enjoying Tharu Cultural dance performed by locals.

Pokhara valley is said to be better from Kathmandu Valley. It is famous for spectacular views of Annapurna Mountain, Dhaulagiri Mountains and other UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well. Pokhara city is famous for its calmness, balanced weather, greenness view and adventurous activities like Paragliding, Zip flyer, Bungee Jumping, ultra- light flight.

Day 1
Arrive in Kathmandu (1345m) and Transfer to hotel

You will be transferred to your hotel by our representative. Check in Hotel. overnight at hotel.

Day 2
Fullday Kathmandu Sightseeing tour

After breakfast you will visit Pashupatinath, situated 5 km east of Kathmandu. The temple of Lord Shiva, Pathupatinath with its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors is considered one of the holiest Hindu shrines. You will then visit Boudhanath, which lies 3kms east of Pashupati. This ancient colossal Buddhist stupa is one of the biggest in the world. It was listed as a UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979. After lunch you will proceed to Swayambhunath, one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire base are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Next you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will see the Taleju Temple, built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 A.D.; Kal Bhairav, the God of destruction; Nautale Durbar; Nasal Chowk; Gaddi Baithak; the statue of King Pratap Malla and the Jagannath. You will then be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 3
Kathmandu - Chitwan National Park.

After breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park by bus (185km/5 ½ hours). Enroute you will enjoy 3 hours of white water rafting on the Trisuli river and then have lunch. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will check into the hotel and have a welcome drink and briefing about jungle activities. In the evening you can enjoy the Tharu cultural dance and dinner.

Day 4
Chitwan National Park

Wake up call with tea/coffee followed by a nature walk and bird watching tour. Have breakfast and start your jungle safari on elephant. Visit the elephant breeding centre. In the afternoon take a canoe ride or jungle hike..

Day 5
Chitwan – Pokhara

Early morning after breakfast drive to Pokhara by bus. Upon arrival, Check into the hotel. Your afternoon is free for personal activities and a 1 hour boat on Fewa Lake.

Day 6
Pokhara

After breakfast you will start your Pokhara Valley sightseeing tour, covering the Seti Gorge, Bindabasini Temple, Davi’s Falls and Mahadev Cave.

Day 7
Pokhara – Kathmandu

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu by bus 200km. Check in Hotel. Evening free.

Day 8
Kathmandu

After breakfast proceed for halfday sightseeing to Bhaktapur. Have lunch in Bhaktapur and drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a hill station 32 km east of Kathmandu. You can enjoy the beautiful country side view on the way to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a popular destination to view Himalayas, sunset and sunrise. Evening drive back to Kathmandu.

Kathmandu

After breakfast, you are free till the time of check out. Transfer to the Tribhuwan International Airport to catch your return flight.
