You can start your sightseeing activity since the flight takeoff to Paro from Kathmandu. Upon your arrival on bhutan our representative traditionally welcome you and pick you up to the hotel by private vehicle. You can enjoy the city view along the way to hotel and spend night over the hotel. At another day your journey to Bhutan starts with a drive to Thimphu. A tour of the Textile Museum, Heritage Museum, Indigenous Hospital, Chorten Memorial and traditional schools is a great attraction on your way to Bhutan. Overnight at the hotel. Return to the paro and take a trip to the next Tiger Monastery and the National Museum. Overnight at the hotel and the next day departure back to Kathmandu.

Fly to Paro (1hr20min Flight), upon arrival go through Bhutanese immigration formalities. All your visa fees and taxes are already paid, you just need to submit the visa clearance letter that we give you in Kathmandu. You will be traditionally welcome by our local representative at the arrival terminal and transfer to Thimphu ( approx 50km, 1hr 30 min drive)
After breakfast, you’ll proceed for sightseeing in Thimphu and around. Visit Memorial Chorten located in Doeboom Lam. It is the stupa built in 1974 AD in t to the third Druk Gyalpo (Jigme Dorji Wangchuck ). It is a prominent landmark in the city with it’s golden bells and spires.
Another site you’ll proceed for sightseeing is Zilukha Nunnery. It is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site near the Thimphu city. The distance between Memorial Chorten and Zilukha Nunnery is approx. 4 km. After Zilukha Nunnery you’ll visit Takin Sanctuary. This is originally established as mini-zoo located a short distance off the road to the telecom tower. Takin (Budorcas taxicolor) is the National animal of Bhutan which seems as mixed of cow from back and goat from front. The Takin Sanctuary is established to preserve the Takin as being endangered.
After visiting Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery & Takin Sanctuary you’ll proceed to Indigenous Hospital. Indigenous Hospital currently known as Institute of Traditional Medicine Services was established as library on 1616 and turned as Medicine dispensary on June 28, 1968, after the king’s order to Health Department of Bhutan. This Institute has museum so, it carries the tourism values. The museum has showcase which displays herbs, minerals, precious metal gems and animals parts which have the pain healing capacity. After that another destination you proceed is Textile Museum. The main purpose of visiting this museum is to know the achievement on the textile field of Bhutan. Then you’ll proceed to Heritage museum and it display the way of life of Bhutanese people and the Bhutanese culture. This museum is nearby Institute of Traditional Medicine Services.
Later you’ll proceed to Traditional School of arts & crafts and Tashicho Dzong.
After breakfast, return back to Paro. Proceed to Tiger’s Nest Monastery. It is also known as Taktsang Pallug Monastery and is scared Vajrayana Buddhist monastery situated just above the upper Paro valley. It was discovered as a meditation cave in early 9th century but the current structure of the monastery is constructed in 1962 AD. This monastery is very beautiful and famous for tourist. Then you’ll proceed to National Museum. After visiting these two spots on third day you can go to local market and buy some clothes, ornaments, and whatever you want as the memory of Bhutan. Then you’ll return back to hotel and the day is free for you and you can stroll nearby hotel on your own.
After breakfast transfer to the airport in time for departure to Kathmandu.
