Everest Heli Tour is all about experiencing a thrilling aerial view of the world’s tallest mountains along with the breathtaking landing at Kalapatthar (5643 meters). Landing on the Kalapatthar offers some remarkable cinematics and glorious mountain vistas of the snow-capped Himalayan range.
Everest Heli Tour starts early in the morning from Kathmandu. The total duration of this tour is 3 hours to 3 hours 30 min ( Ground time 30 min). The helicopter can carry a maximum of 5 people or 425 Kg. The outline route of this tour is Kathmandu – Lukla – Everest Overfly – Syangboche (HEV) for breakfast – Lukla – Kathmandu. The tour covers the following mountains.

Wake up early in the morning, our representative comes to pick you up from your hotel. You’ll be transferred to Domestic Terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for the formalities.
You’ll be check-in to domestic airport as soon as the airport opens. Then you’ll fly to Lukla. It takes about 45 min – 1 hr to reach to Lukla airport depending upon the weather condition of Lukla airport. During this flight you’ll get the cinematic of countryside and cities settlements in central and western region of Nepal.
After arriving to Lukla Airport, Helicopter will land for couple of minutes to refuel. Then, the helicopter can take maximum 3 number of passenger at once, and rest of two will be taken after the returning of the first three people because of the high altitude and to maintain the weight.
The flight takes off at 7:55 am and it takes about 25 minutes to reach to Kalapatthar.
It will land in Kalapathar for 10 minutes and can depend upon the physical capacity of the traveler. Because of the high altitude 5,644m shortness of the breathing may happens to you so maximum time of landing at Kalapatthar will be no more than 10 minutes. In those times you can view the heavenly Mount Everest and takes some picture and videos.
After enjoying the scenic view of Kalapatthar, you’ll proceed to the place named Syangboche where Hotel Everest View is located. The of Hotel Everest View is situated at the altitude of 3962.4m so you can stay there for 30 minutes.
You can enjoy breakfast having the eyball to eyeball with Mt. Everest. The breakfast on Hotel Everest View is optional for you. You can enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains without having breakfast. Helicopter will stay there for 1 and half hour if you take breakfast otherwise it will return in just 10-15 minutes over there.
After breakfast, you’ll return to Kathmandu Domestic Terminal of International Airport. It takes 1 hour flight to arrive Kathmandu from Hotel Everest View. The all traveler will return in a same flight from Everest View Hotel.
After arriving to Domestic Terminal of International Airport, you’ll transferred to your hotel by private vehicle.
