Dhulikhel is one of the most popular places from where the magnificent scenic high Himalaya is observed. It is considered one of the major parts of the Kathmandu Valley Cultural Trekking trail. Dhulikhel is one of the initial or the midst point for hiking routes. This trail includes the enchanting view of Kavre village, Panauti, Opi village, and Hazzar Sindhi.

The beautiful scene of the 72 species of birds (60% residents and 35% migratory) can be seen from the different points of the Dhulikhel municipality. Dhulikhel has always been the commercial route linking Nepal to Tibet.

  Dhulikhel is situated in the Kavrepalanchok district of Nepal. The two major highways B.P highway and Araniko highway passes through Dhulikhel. It is situated at the eastern rim of Kathmandu valley. The actual elevation of this place is 1550m above sea level. The Spring season is the appropriate time to visit Dhulikhel.
